Last week, our theme in reading was Express Yourself. We read the story, Olivia, by Ian Falconer. In the story, Olivia visits the museum and sees a painting by Jackson Pollock. She the goes home and paints part of her room Jackson Pollock style. The children loved the story and Olivia's adventures. Friday we watched a short video clip showing how Jackson Pollock paints his pictures. Then we painted our own. We had a fabulous time creating our art masterpieces. Hope you enjoy them.
